Hi!

We’re an award-winning community café in the heart of Edale, serving up great locally roasted coffee and loose-leaf tea, pasties and delicious home-made cakes.

The cafe is right by Edale train station, perfectly located for walkers heading out for the day or grabbing a well-deserved hot chocolate and piece of cake on the way back from popular nearby routes up Kinder Scout and Mam Tor.

Our placement on the world-famous Manchester to Sheffield train line means the cafe is only 30-40 minutes from either city.

We’ve got a log fire and blankets in winter, ice creams in summer, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Our Menu

Three cups of coffee with latte art on top, placed on wooden saucers on a wooden table.

Hot Drinks

We pride ourselves on really good coffee.

Our coffee is roasted just a few miles down the road by our friends at Roastology.

We don’t just love coffee, we also love our tea. We have our own-branded loose leaf tea including English Breakfast Tea and a large range of herbal teas.

If you enjoy your tea, we sell bags of each blend to take home with you!

Cakes (and other sweet treats)

All our cakes are baked in-house daily by our super bakers. Whilst they vary day to day, you can expect classics such as carrot cake, cherry bakewell, cookies and the cyclist favourite… date & banana oat slice.

We’ve been told our scones are the best in the valley (served with jam & cream) - you’ll have to decide for yourself!

We have sandwiches delivered most days from Hope Chest deli (3 miles away).

On the chillier days - we make up a warming winter soup. (VG, GF) Served with fresh bread (GF options available).

All of our cakes, sandwiches, pastries and hot drinks are available to takeaway.
